This past week at the Kiowa Tribe’s District 5 (Lawton Area) Meeting, Indian Education Liaison, Raylisha Stanley was honored to be invited to receive Kiowa flags from the Kiowa Tribe from Vice Chairman David Sullivan and Chairman Lawrence SpottedBird. They also had the opportunity to visit with the group about the Kiowa language course LPS is offering, as well as Tribal Industries.

We are excited and honored to continue building this partnership with the Kiowa Tribe!

MHS bleachers installed
The Wichita Mountains can be seen on the horizon over the new bleachers being installed Wednesday on the east side of the MacArthur High School football field. The 750-seat bleachers will be for visiting fans at home football games. #WeAreLPS #LawtonPS #oklaed

It's game week!! One of the biggest rivalries in America takes the stage Friday night at Cameron Stadium! The Lawton High Wolverines and Eisenhower Eagles meet up to start the home football season for our #LawtonPS high schools! #WeAreLPS

Members of the Eisenhower High School JROTC battalion received the Clean Sweep Award from the Lawton City Council on Aug. 26. EHS Senior Army Instructor Steve Hall said the ROTC unit adopted Southwest 52nd Street between West Gore and West Lee about three years ago and conducts a cleanup of the area at least once a month during the school year.
