STEM Camp

LPS Family,\r\n

\r\n

Join us for the annual Department of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) STEM Camp on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 13-15 in Lawton, but online.

\r\n

This year’s three-day camp will be an online project-based camp in which students will design and create projects using computer applications and technical skills.  The DRS Distance STEM Camp activities are similar to those taught in LPS’ Tech-Now/Computer Applications classes taught at all LPS high school sites.  Pre-requisite skills and technology requirements are outlined in the flyer below.\r\n

\r\n

This camp is sponsored by the Oklahoma DRS, and operates in collaboration with Great Plains Technology Center and LPS Special Services Center. Camp is FREE for students with documented disabilities (i.e. IEP, 504 Plan, or other documented physical, mental or cognitive disabilities, even if not on and IEP or 504 Plan).  Participants DO NOT have to be a DRS client to apply and participate. \r\n

\r\n

All students who will benefit from this camp are encouraged to apply! \r\n
