Meet the Principal
\r\n\t\r\n

\r\n\tI am very excited to be the principal of John Adams Elementary and consider it a great honor to serve Adams’ students and families. Adams is an excellent facility of learning with talented teachers whom have proved their ability time and time again.

\r\n\tI began my career as an educator the Fall of 2000 and have experience teaching 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. I taught at Brockland Elementary School for eight years and two years in Colorado Springs. For three years, I served the district as an Instructional Elementary Math Coach, and began my administration career as Principal of Wilson Elementary School in the Fall of 2014. I am honored to be the current principal of John Adams.
\r\n\tI truly enjoy the career of education. I love helping students learn and come to realize that they are capable of experiencing success in education as well as in life in general. I do truly believe that all students can learn.

\r\n\tI am also a product of Lawton Public schools, and feel we offer our students and excellent education. During my educational career as a students, I attended Geronimo Road Elementary until my family moved to from Ft. Still to Lawton. I then attend Westwood Elementary for sixth grade, then Tomlinson Jr. High as well as Eisenhower High School.

\r\n\tFamily is also of upmost importance to me. I have a daughter, Micah, and two nieces that are very important to me. My daughter will be attending Seminole State College and plans to earn a degree in Forensic Anthropology. Her career plans are to work for the Criminal Justice System. My niece, Naomi, is currently attending Lawton High, and Taylor is currently attending Tomlinson.
