We were blessed to be visited by Steven Patterson, a gifted orator who has studied the work of Martin Luther King Jr. He spoke to the students about the work that Martin Luther King Jr. had done and the background of his "I Have a Dream" speech. Mr. Patterson then recited Dr. King's speech as he gave it on Aug. 28, 1963, in Washington, DC, in front of a large group of civil rights marchers. We were all moved by the speech.
